Great Hearts Arizona Summer Programs

Summer Programs include Summer Camp for any student in rising grades 1st-5th, and Kinder Readiness for new, incoming kindergarten students (including those on the Great Hearts waitlist). Whether you register for one week, or all four, it is bound to be an experience to remember!
Summer Camp:
Our full-day summer camp is an experience for any student in rising grades 1st-5th (including those on the Great Hearts waitlist) that is reminiscent of traditional camps from our childhood with the same quality you have come to expect from Great Hearts. Each week incorporates topics including science, math, art, literature, athletic skills, and more. Campers will laugh as they compete in crazy camp games, sing silly campfire songs, enjoy engaging activities, and make new friends. It’s a traditional summer camp experience with a classical twist!

- Engages scholars in relevant learning activities throughout the summer months.
- Campers are grouped appropriately by age for all activities and supervised by trained teachers.
- Uniforms NOT required! Any Great Hearts purchased shirt or solid color shirt allowed. Sneakers and shorts highly encouraged (navy, khaki and black only, not form fitting or above thigh, athletic shorts allowed). NO flip-flops or sandals.
- Theme-related presenters will be a part of each week’s unique schedule.

*Save $25/week on Summer Camp when you register before May 1st, 2024. One-time registration fee is non-refundable. No refunds after May 1st, 2024. $15 change fee per camp. Siblings must be purchased in the same transaction to receive the sibling discount.
Kinder Readiness:
Kinder Readiness is designed to acclimate incoming Kindergarten students to the Archway Schools, Great Hearts curriculum, and the academy teachers. Each week scholars will practice and gain confidence in the skills needed in Kindergarten alongside new friends.
Benefits:
- Daily, four hour camp designed to ignite creativity for incoming Kindergarteners.
- Each week, students experience a new, unique curriculum to practice the skills needed in Kindergarten.
- Students will be introduced to letter names, letter sounds, letter formation, print awareness, number sense, and the importance of the Archway virtues.
