Earn College Credit at Great Hearts Academies
There are three pathways to earning college credit while attending a Great Hearts Academy.
Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement, and CLEP Testing.

Dual Enrollment
Dual credit can be earned in 10th and 11th grade math courses and 12th grade Humane Letters through Southeastern University. Great Hearts students must have a 3.0 unweighted cumulative or higher GPA to participate.
Dual Enrollment InfoCollege-Level Examination Program (CLEP)
CLEP helps you receive college credit for what you already know, for a fraction of the cost of a college course. Developed by the College Board, CLEP covers 34 subjects and is accepted by 2,900 universities worldwide.
More About CLEPAdvanced Placement (AP)
Students do not need to be enrolled in an AP class to take the AP exam; however, Great Hearts courses do not precisely align with AP curriculum. It is recommended students invest time to prepare for the exam.
